Tollywood film actor Mega Star Chiranjeevi has decided to take a plunge into Andhra Pradesh politics by launching his own party in 2008, according to sources close to the mega star. They said he would float the party in January and it will provide a third alternative to the state's ruling Congress and the main opposition Telugu Desam Party (TDP). Chiranjeevi has a massive fan following in Andhra Pradesh, could change the political scene in the state.
Chiranjeevi has been acting in Telugu Movies for 25 years, since then he started social services to Andhra Pradesh people especially Blood Donation, The main political fighting between Telugu Desam and Congress since 1982 in Andhra Pradesh, Some other leaders are planning to start new political party in A.P [Third alternative] against Congress and Telugu Desam, Already number of existed parties are in Andhra Pradesh like Congress, Telugu Desam, CPI, CPM, TRS, Manaparty, Loksatta, BSP and other.,
